Life Gear's Personal Safety Device (PSD) provides attractive and useful features that can be used daily while having components that can be potentially life saving during time of need. The PSD functions primarily as a flashlight. The flashlight is powered by a built in crank that powers 5 super bright LED flashlights (20,000 MCD Each). Never having to change the batteries, one minute of cranking will yield approximately 1 hour of flashlight power. This allows the user to generate power anytime, anywhere. The PSD may also be powered via 3 alkaline batteries or DC inlet with optional wall adapter. In addition to providing a reliable source of light, the generated power also provides a reliable method of recharging your cell phone with the free cell phone adapter. Aside from these features, the PSD also has an emergency signal flasher, an emergency 130 decibel siren, a directional compass and can access emergency messages, information and music via is built in emergency radio.
