Adjustment instruction for Surefire M951 & M952:
The both flashlights have a different amount of space in the bezel end compared with most of the Surefire lights that use P60 drop-ins. Pls remove the large outer spring (necessary for proper fit with any Surefire). Then the central (positive) spring must be elongated slightly so that it makes contact with the positive (button top) end of the top CR123A battery.
Remove the large outer spring by pulling to the rear. Using two sets of needle nose pliers stretch the small (center) spring on the base of the lamp. Use one set of pliers to grip the spring near the solder joint. Then use the second set of pliers to grip the end of the spring. Never pull this spring against the solder joint only. It is not designed to withstand such pressure .Thank you for your kindly attention.
Adjustment instruction for Surefire G2:
Due to the polycarbonate housing of the G2 , which do not conduct electricity the way an aluminum body flashlight does. Surefire lines the battery compartment with a metal tube to complete the electrical circuit from the battery. To function properly, the outside edge of the LED lamp base must make contact with the metal tube.
In order to make the bulb work in the flashlight, pls kindly use a pliers to cut almost one circle of the outer spring and try to install the bulb. If the head could not close totally, pls cut the circle again until it could work perfectly. Thanks a lot for your help.
